Penguin Joy
December 4th, 2008
It’s December!!??? Ackkkk! I feel really behind. No decorations up, no gifts purchased….I have no idea how this happened. I’m sure it will all work out though….right?
Today I have a Christmas card I made just for fun. I’ve been feeling pressured to finish up my batches of Christmas cards – production stamping not being my favorite thing – so last night I decided to just sit down and *play*. I’m a penguin lover so I chose two of my cute penguin stamps and grabbed my TE Christmas Key Ingredients (cardstock, dp, ribbon) and just went *stamp happy*.
The penguins are by Great Impressions (large) and Stampendous (tiny). I stamped them on Shimmer White cardstock and colored them with Copics. The sentiment is SU. I picked up the snowflake sticker at Hobby Lobby during my trip to Texas (thanks for Bev for taking us there!!) I added some Frosted Lace Stickles as the final touch. Here’s a photo of the inside. It only takes a couple of extra minutes to finish off the inside and it’s soooo much nicer this way. I’m really trying to stay in the habit of doing this.
Just a quick post today since I need to get to work. Hope you have a great day. Thanks for stopping by.

I arrived at your blog thru Taylor’s, but I know – and greatly admire – your cards from SCS also. I just wanted to say it’s good to hear someone else has no shopping or decorations done! We’ll get there, won’t we?? I just scored my first gift from Ebay, anyway!
