It’s Release Day at Taylored Expressions!!!  Everything that has been previewed this week is now available.  Today I’ve got a bright and happy birthday card to share.  The Petite Bouquet collection at TE continues to be a customer favorite and certainly a personal favorite of mine, so when Taylor started talking about adding dies for some of the bouquets I was all for it!  This month she’s added dies for the Zinnias and the Daisy Bouquet.  I was super excited to color up those happy zinnias and die cut them out so I could pop them up on double thick (1/8″ instead of standard 1/16″) foam tape!

Recipe-

Stamps:  Zinnia Bouquet PLUS NEW coordinating Taylored Die

Dies: Tag Stacklets 2, Designer Mini Tags, Tag Reinforcement dies

Paper – Echo Park Splendid Sunshine 6×6

Copic Markers, Stickles,  1/8″ foam tape

Happy hopping and Happy shopping!

I’m back with some more peeks of the new Taylored Expressions products that will be available tomorrow morning, June 4th, at 7:00 a.m.PST.  I’m showcasing two stamp sets today.  First up is Notable Blooms. It was so exciting to watch this stamp set come into being – I could hardly wait to get my hands on it!  It’s so pretty!  For some reason, when we were working on it with BreAnne, I just kept picturing a set of flat panel note cards, so that’s what I made first.

I created this set of 6 cards, which will make a great gift I think.  ). The images and sentiments were stamped with black pigment ink and heat embossed with iridescent powder, then watercolored with Twinkling H2O’s.  Super sparkly in person!

It’s simply a confetti white panel, layered onto black and then onto either pink, or olive or razzleberry cardstock.  I rounded a couple of edges on each.  That’s it.  Really easy peasy!

My next card features the new stamp set Wash.Dry.Repeat. This adorable set was something Taylor cooked up and Emily illustrated.  I was anxious to get this set specifically to make this card.

I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 221 for my layout along with papers from  the Cosmo Cricket Baby Jane 6×6 pad.  Here’s the inside:

It says “Congratulations on your bun in the oven!”  Cute, huh?

This is for our niece, who very recently let us know that she is expecting her first baby!!  We are so excited for her and her husband.  (And I might be just a little excited about being a great-aunt, too!)

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I’ll be back tomorrow with one more card to celebrate Release Day!

Sneak Peeks begin today for the Taylored Expressions June Release which will take place Thursday morning at 7:00 a.m. PST.  I’m excited to play along.  It had been so long since I had stamped anything, I honestly wasn’t sure I could.  I had lots of ideas, but felt intimidated to get started.  Like…maybe I had lost it altogether or something?  What a relief, so get going and find that I couldn’t stop!  I actually made more projects than I had planned/hoped!  Oh yea!  I do love to stamp!  How did I forget that?

My job with TE behind the scenes means I get to be involved in the development of a lot of the new stamp sets and dies. So, I often have lots of ideas long before I have any actual products. This month there were several sets that I just had to make the time to play with.  One of those sets is Big Kahuna which is all about surfing and the beach.  My other boss, the Senior Pastor, happens to be a surfer and we often refer to him as the Big Kahuna, so there’s a lot of things about this set that I love!  Today I have two cards to show off Big Kahuna.

The first card shows off the cool surf wagon and coordinating die. I used TE Label Stacklets 6 to create a window in my stamped panel (after I created my own background pattern with the surfboard image).  The road is Trendy Tape. The surf wagon is popped up on foam tape.

“Your wave is waiting!”

And here’s the inside:

My next card features Big Kahuna along with another new stamp set, Big Bold Summer. All the images are from Big Kahuna and the big sentiment is from Big Bold Summer which will be great for scrapbooking as well as cardmaking.

This one just makes me smile.  I used the coordinating die for the palm trees to pop up a pair onto foam tape.  After coloring with copics I added stickles to the palm fronds and tons of Doodlebug sequins along with glass glitter to the beach. I’ve already concocted a story about the couple who owns these beach chairs.  How about you?  What’s your story?

I’m so blessed to live so close to the ocean.  I’m not much of a beach-goer as far as sand and waves go, but I do love to sit in a restaurant over looking the ocean – there’s something so soothing about that!  These cards are making me want to go right now!

Thanks for stopping by.  I’ll be back Wednesday and Thursday with more samples.   🙂
