TE Calendar Challenge April

April 12th, 2012

Happy Thursday! It’s time for the monthly Taylored Expressions Calendar Challenge! You REALLY need to play along with us.  It’s easy and fun!  Just pick a calendar product from the TE Store.  There are several types to choose from.  Decorate the pages of the calendar any way you want to (TE stamps are NOT required.)  Show off your monthly creations on your blog or in an on-line gallery such as SCS and link it up over at Taylor’s blog.  If you play in at least 10 of 12 months in 2012, you will be entered into a drawing for a Prize Package worth over $150!  You can go back and catch up on any months you missed at any time.  TE even has 2013 products available now so you can get started on holiday gifts.

I have a Landscape Desktop Calendar on my desk at work.  Here’s the page I created for April.

I used 3 different TE stamps sets for this really simple design.  The main image is a little scene built from Rose Garden Estate stamps.  The Psalm is from Faith in Bloom and the butterflies are from Make it Amazing. Here’s a close up of the scene.

I masked around the outline of the calendar and did a little sponging inside.

I love having this calendar on my desk for a quick date reference.  And I’m thinking that when the year is over I will cut off the left hand portion which will give me a little ATC’s that I can turn into a set of greeting cards.

Now let’s see what the Baker’s Dozen players have created this month:

  • Jen Shults (will post later today)
  • Jami Sibley
  • Jodi Collins
  • Karen Giron
  • Melody Rupple
  • Regina Mangum
  • Taylor VanBruggen <— get all the details to play along here!
  • Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!
