Goodness!  Is it really Wednesday already?  Last week we went to Austin TX to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary.  The first 3 days of the trip were great and we had a wonderful anniversary, but things started to go downhill the next day, Thursday, when I woke up not feeling very well.  I caught some sort of stomach flu bug or perhaps it was a mild food poisoning.  By Friday I was feeling really miserable as we had to check out of our beautiful hotel toom at noon and didn’t have a flight out until 5:00.  I was so thankful for the Lord’s grace to allow me to sleep pretty much the entire 3 hours home on the plane.  I spent the next 3 days on the couch and only yeterday beagn to feel like myself again.  So you see, I really can’t believe it’s Wednesday already!

We had a wonderful friend house sit for us while we were gone.  He took great care of the pups and the birds and he even sent us daily videos!  🙂  Here’s the card I left for him.  Made this card when I should have been packing and doing a million other things, but just wanted to stamp – so it’s a quick and easy one.  🙂

From Taylored Expressions, I combined Thankful (apple basket and sentiment) with some of Taylor’s brand new little flags and banners – Fly Your Flag 1 (stamps and dies).  I also used the Picket Fence Taylored Die, Take Note 1 Taylored Die, and Bronze Viva Pearl Pen.  Paper is Echo Park.

Now it’s time to start catching up on a few things around here.  I think laundry might be first on the list.  Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you have a great day!
