TECC62 Blessings

April 3rd, 2009

Happy Cupcake Friday!  It’s a BIG day for Taylor and Taylored Expressions as the Baker’s Dozen begins posting sneak peeks today of one of the new stamp sets to be released on Sunday.  And of course it’s also Cupcake Friday and time for another one of Taylor’s fun sketchs – TECC62.  You’ll want to hop over to Taylor’s blog to get all the info to play along as well as get all the links for the sneak peeks.

I don’t have a sneak peek, but I do have a TE card.  I love Branching Out and Branching Out Coordinates and I haven’t played with them nearly enough yet, so that’s what I grabbed for this card along with the TE Easter Key Ingredients.  I think the Easter KI is my favorite one so far – just love the colors and really everything in the kit!

I built my little scene using my Stamp-a-majig, Memento Tuxedo Black ink and TE Choice Snow White cardstock. I colored it with Copics after punching it out with a Marvy scallop punch.  Besides the KI, I added blue candy dots, hot pink Kaiser Craft rhinestones and Petal Pink Liquid Pearls.  My finished card is 5″ square.  When I work with a square sketch I usually print it out 4.25″ square and 5″ square and then once I decide what images I want to work with, I choose between those two sizes of cards.

If you haven’t purchased Branching Out yet, remember that a portion of the proceeds are donated to the Eden Project.  So you can have an adorable stamp set to create with AND give to charity at the same time!

Now it’s time to see what the rest of the Cupcake Crew has cooked up with this week’s sketch:

  • Ana Wohlfahrt
  • Donna Baker
  • Jackie Pedro
  • Lynn Mercurio
  • Monika Davis
  • Sherrie Siemens
  • Stephanie Hargis
  • Vicki Chrisman
  • Have a great Friday!  I’m looking forward to teaching my SU class tonight.  We always have fun!  Check back with me tomorrow to see some of what we did.  And on Sunday – TE Release Day – I’ll have a Fresh Flowers card to share.  Thanks for stopping by!
