Happy Valentine’s Day!
February 14th, 2009
I hope you have a wonderful day!
The card I’m sharing with you today was pulled out of *the vault*. It’s one I made for the SCS Dirty Dozen gallery back in November ’06. I actually just mailed it out this week to a very special friend. When I made it I thought it would make a beautiful Valentine and I put it away. I’ve run across it many times, but forgot about it two years in a row as Valentine’s Day approached. I was so happy to finally get it in the mail. I’ve always loved this card!
Finished card size is 5 x 7 made to fit an envelope I had on hand. Looking at this makes me want to dig out some stamp sets I haven’t used in awhile!
If the rain stays away we’re headed over to a favorite area filled with antique stores and cafes for some browsing and lunch. I’m looking forward to us just having a day together without anything much to accomplish. Thanks for stopping by!

Jami~ such a cute card! If I pulled one of my cards out from 2 years ago it would make me gag!!! You were obviously very talented back then, too! About your Vera Bradley…they are super big on the East coast, but for some reason us West coast girls aren’t as in to them! I have the backpack (in Mocha Java, yum!) and the Libby in Mod Floral Pink as well as the wallet in Peacock. You are going to love how your new purse wears, they get softer and yummier as time goes by!!! I have one more thing to add…what is happening on SoCalSCS mania? Is there not going to be one this year? I went in ’07 (had to miss ’08 due to a work conflict), it was such a fun time! Maybe you are busy planning (said with hope in my heart!)? Thanks for letting me blab away to you! ~Kerney (mom2grace)

I adore this card. I have a predilection for geometric shapes arranged artfully on a card…and this one is fabulous! Colours are great too. Great work, Jami!

ooooohh … Your ‘vault’ is obviously filled with masterpieces! I need such a vault … then a So.Cal friend to come visit and share the secrets of creating vault-worthy items!!
All this to say that I do totally adore your project! My honey returns tomorrow, so we’ll celebrate “Valentines’ a wee bit late! *wink*
