The Challenge Continues…

October 24th, 2007

Oops – I never got my post up last night.  When I finally got over here to do it SCS was down for maintenance.  The Dashing Challenge continues!  Scroll down to the previous post for all Challenge details and come PLAY!  I’ve revised the stamp set rule just a little bit so more of you can hopefully play – so please check it out again!

I have two more samples to share today.

How is it possible that this *More is More* Girl is having so much fun making these very simple cards?  On the card above I had a little *uh-oh* when I realized I had used my artichoke marker instead of olive – oops.  I kept wondering why the color seemed so dark/muddy when I was stamping the images.  After the card was put together I saw that I had the wrong marker out on my table.  Oh well – close enough!  LOL!

On this next card I cheated just a tad when I used a Zig Painty Pen on the ornament top and scallop scissors for the red cardstock trim.  I didn’t actually cut those pieces from my card though – they were scraps left over from another project.

Faux stitching was done with a Real Red SU marker.  Three holes were punched with the SU slot punch for a place to tie the ribbons.  (Yes Jenn I realize the holes show – sorry!)  Noel image is adhered with foam tape for a little dimension.

For all the supplies for both of these cards check out the supply list in the post below.

I have one more sample to share and although it totally follows the original rules, it isn’t a Christmas card.  You’ll have to come back to check it out!  Thanks for stopping by and please PLAY with us!

Oh these are darling sweet! Love the stripe paper! And the darker green seems to match well and just gives it a little more ‘pop’! 🙂
